Happy Birthday to Me!

Man I sound conceded by that title...oh well :) I like to declare a Birthday Week, instead of just a single day to celebrate. Besides with our hectic schedules we weren't even able to celebrate on my actual Birthday, which is totally fine, so lets make a week! We started off with some family coming to down to visit on Sunday. We had a picnic in the park, which was great & the weather was fantastic!
The awesome sign Little Taylor made me :)

Swing, swing, swing!

Alec, Lilianna, Taylor & Auntie Sue bouncing around. I couldn't participate since my butt is way to big & Little Man didn't enjoy it.

Two Peas in Pod

Monday we went out to Roy's which is probably my favorite restaurant & its upscale Hawaiian. Monday was the only night we did not have something going on, so Roy's it was! Besides they have a fantastic Pre Fix meals on Monday nights which includes, appetizer, main dish & dessert! Yummy!!

Lobster Pot stickers to die for!

Macadamia Nut crusted Mahi Mahi Yummy!!

Daddy & Lili's dessert

Mine...oh it was so good Molten Chocolate Cake Souffle

Not the greatest picture but mama & Lili

Tuesday I was subbing again, as well as volleyball practice, so my amazing coworker had a little celebration for me with what else Chocolate cake!!! Yummy & so sweet :) (Chocolate is my number one crazing these days...horrible!)

Wednesday, my actual day of birth, was spend shopping with the little one; lots of great phone calls from friends & family, as well as volleyball practice. Although that night I was surprised at practice with cupcakes from The Cupcakery , as well as little miss Lizzy, yes a dog. I was in shock because I didn't ask for a dog on my birthday so was this gift really for me or was it more for Taylor & Lilianna....mmm....anyways she adorable & she's my new little friend.

The Cupcakery, excuse me, one of the many cupcakes I received. Oh they are so good!
This one is Blueberry Lemon YUM-O!

Giving Miss Lizzy a bath. She came from the shelter where they give them 2 weeks. If no one adopts them within that time period, they kill them. Just awful!! She is such an amazing little girl!

Where's Lizzy? Someone loves Lilianna's bed :)

On Thursday, our ward had the Annual Relief Society Birthday celebration. I was asked to present on Health & Wellness. The overall celebration was amazing & the ladies in our ward did a fantastic job, as they always do! Here is my class room, kind of blurry, my bad.

Friday was followed with enjoy our day off, a little more shopping & showing Miss Lizzy off :) Saturday my girlfriend Helen took me on a lovely little date of dinner, a movie & Dwayne Johnson aka The ROCK. Ok I didn't get to meet Mr. Handsome, but I did get to see him in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. It was a great movie, cute, clean & fun & hello he's in there! And he even does his famous peck dance :) This is a must see, especially if you love witnessing Mr. Samoan Treat himself :)

My Birthday week was amazing thanks to friends & family! I couldn't imagine spending it any other way, especially since its my last celebration as a 20-something-year-old....so weird! But I'm excited for this new year!

Harry Potter Bridal Shower Sneak Peak

Can I tell you how excited I am to throw my lil sister's bridal shower?! Do you want to know why I'm so excited? Because it's Harry Potter themed!! In our little family we LOVE Harry Potter just a little bit & I know that secretly, if Tia could, she'd have a Harry Potter themed wedding....JK but honestly. I've gotten some amazing ideas off of Pinterst , thank goodness for that lovely website, as well as some other amazing blogs. I got the wand idea from here. So simple & it should turn out pretty cool! The invite just makes me laugh & I hope people will understand it :) I'm SOOOOOOO excited for the final outcome!!! I hope it will turn out amazing & that the Bride to be has amazing time.
The invite aka your acceptance letter to Hogwarts :)

The wand isn't complete yet.

Signing A Song

Since becoming a Sunbeam, Lilianna has really enjoyed Singing Time. She loves learning new Primary Songs & her current favorite is "As A Child of God." Here she is singing her heart out. Enjoy! :) video

OMG!!

The Bear the Fire Fighters gave Lilianna
Yesterday, in the Walmart parking lot, I just about had a heart attack!! I was put in a situation that I've never been put in before & was helpless. Lilianna was helpless & I couldn't help her. It honestly sucked big time! We had just done some grocery shopping,  I usually don't go to Walmart just because its ALWAYS nut-so, but I needed to hit a store next door & opted to change up the routine. We rolled our way back to our car, after check-out, & I unlocked the car door to put lili in just so I knew where she was. Walmart parking lot is just crazy dangerous & I usually either keep Lils in the shopping cart or in the car with the door open. Well as I unloaded the groceries & was shutting the trunk door, I noticed all the doors were shut & locked with Lils inside....along with my keys, wallet, purse, etc. OMG!!!! I tried to open the door & off goes the alarm which made Lils totally start to freak out. I started to yell, "Open the door I can't open it!" Well that was totally the wrong approach because she realized there was no way out. You see the VW has a very sensitive alarm system/lock system. The moment the doors shut, they automatically lock.....yeah awesome...and if you even breath on the car the loud & obnoxious alarm goes off for ever!!! It was awful! Luckily two lovely ladies witnessed the whole thing & came to my aid. One lady went in &  bought Lilianna candy & a drink to try to lure her out. It didn't work. The other woman just a calm & collective person, which was something we both needed that moment. We called 911 and they transferred me to the Fire Dept. Those guys were awesome too! They were there within 5 mins with toys to try &  lure her out, but yet that didn't work either & the bummer part: the Fire Dept is no longer able to pop-n-unlock cars anymore due to lame people who complained that they scratched their cars while saving their kids lives....seriously so lame of people. So there we waited, this huge group of people congregated around my car not able to help Lilianna. Finally the locksmith arrived to saved the day! OMG was the only thing I could say...well actually swear words were bubbling up trying to come out :) I'll be honest! I'm so, so, so grateful that the situation wasn't worse, for instance 110 degrees outside, or that I managed to not lock my phone in the car with everything else, as well as perfect strangers willing to help a poor stressed out mama. It really made me appreciative. Moral to the story: VWs not my favorite cars right now...... and I finally have joined the Crazy 1000 Things going thru their Mind Mom's Club (I guess everyone has to go through this at some points in their lives :) )

Prego Update

I had my latest Dr. appointment on Tuesday & the good think is my placenta is looking good & starting to move. YEA!! The not so good thing is I've been having issues with my back & legs, which means PT (physical therapy)...boo! If you know me well, you know how much I "love" going to PT. For most of my adolescent life I had to spent many, many hours going & I hated it! For one thing it just darn right hurt, as well as it always reminded me of being injured & starting back at square one. You see I dislocated my shoulder, while I was in 8th grade, playing soccer. Which lead to PT, surgery, more PT, & surgery again. Between the ages of 13-18 I was in & out of the Dr. office/PT & it made me miserable. So when my OB told me  he was writing me a recommendation to start it up again, memories flooded my mind of the "joyous" experiences I had while being a teenager. I know it will be better this time around & a lot less painful, I'm just dreading it... And yes things could be WAAAYY worse, I'm just a baby & I feel like complaining :)
What I totally feel like lately..Ugh!

On a lighter note, I am 24 weeks. Yea! Getting so much closer to the due date & I'm finally feeling better which is such a wonderful feeling! I feel more like myself, minus the wonderful hormonal roller coaster of emotions... Laugh, cry, laugh, cry :)
Yep big old baby bump!

The Name Game

It has come down to this Jacoby vs Jetter. Honestly both great MLB ball players, but I'm pretty sure Jacoby  will be around a lot longer then, cough, Jeter (he is in his 30s) :) This is the only way I'll budge on the name Jeter is if the little man's 1st name will be Jacoby. So yes it is a battle of Red Sox vs. Yankees, as always in this household. We must be die hard fans to even think of naming our poor child after baseball players?! I feel bad for our kids! They will either choose a side, preferable mama's side, or go some opposite direction by choosing  a weird team like the Orioles (just to make their parent's mad), or the Diamondback (yuck!), or better yet the Padres (the who?).  We shall see who comes out on top, my vote is Jacoby :)
Jacoby Ellsbury
JETER (probably the best looking Yankee player , & yes he plays well too)

Derek Jeter

JACOBY (isn't he adorable?!)

Happy Day of LUV

We celebrated V-Day over the weekend due to the fact that I have school & practice till late tonight. We had friends in town which meant shopping for the girls & golfing for the boys. Lilianna was spoiled rotten, as was the little man! We hit up the "Disneyland" Store where Lili went crazy seeing all princess things she could possibly want!. The little man received some new duds since he has none & the styles out there are adorable right now! Who ever said boy clothes are boring either have no style what-so-ever or are looking in all the wrong places! Followed by golf & shopping we finished the night with dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Always a great place to go & the Raspberry Lemon Cheesecake is to DIE for....yummy!! Hope you all had a wonderful V-Day!!
