The Night before Disneyland, and all through the house
not a creature was stirring, not even Mickey Mouse;
The suit cases were packed and laid by the door with care,
In hopes that the new day soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds;
While visions of Princess and other Disney Characters danced in their heads;
And mamma in her sweatpants, and daddy in his Perry The Platypus cap,
Had just settled our brains for a short November nap.
Dreams of meeting Mickey and Minnie Mouse,
Lilianna will be meeting Princess Snow White in her big beautiful royal house.
We'll stand on Main Street and watch the magical Christmas parade,
While drinking our hot chocolate and listening to the Christmas music being played.
"It's a Small World" will be so much fun,
Especially decorated with all of the Christmas decor, we cannot wait here we come!
Down the big "Mountain," we will make such a splash,
But not before we shop and spend all of our cash.
From down in our big boat the "Pirates" we will see,
Zooming down the "Matterhorn" we will all be screaming "Wheeee!"
In the tremendous dark "Mountain" we will fly through space,
And race against "Lightening McQueen" and win 1st place!
Off to the castle to see the fireworks show,
It'll be so beautiful….Oh I cannot wait to go!
It's not "just a place" I'll repeat with a sigh….
It's a land where fish can talk and elephants fly!
We will take flight on a Pirate ship to soar to "Neverland,"
And join in every Disney book character's adventure in Fantasyland.
We will go on a wild adventure with the one and only "Indiana Jones,"
And take a tour of a"Haunted Mansion" and meet Mr. Jack, that old skin and bones.
You will see Buzz our hero and Woody's best friend,
Also Jessie and Mr. Potatohead, the list never ends.
Lunch will be served with Ariel and other princesses too,
But a trip to Disneyland with out a ride on the "Teacups" is just taboo!
It may sound absurd, ludicrous, and wild,
But it is the only place where everyone can act like a little child.
All hopes and dreams will come true you see,
As wee spend the next four days in the magical world of Disney!
Now it is time to snuggle in our beds,
And begin to dream about the next four days ahead.
The morning will come early and we must all awake,
To drive our little car and maybe even take an "Alien Beef Jerky" break.
We are all so excited because it is our last night in town,
For tomorrow we will be Disneyland bound!
Our trip is finally here and we will drive out of sight
Happy dreaming to all and to all a good night!
