Last weekend my little sister graduated from ISU's Nursing Program. I don't know about you, but to me thats a sweet accomplishment! Lili & I flew home to witness all the action & it was quite the weekend! Non-stop until we got home.

Friday was a day filled of running errands, watching Tia participate in the old, kind of dumb tradition of walking thru the arch on lower campus. I guess as a freshmen you were suppose to walk thru the arch, making your way towards ISU. Tia, nor I ever participated in it, maybe because we didn't know about?! As you graduated, you walk thru the arch going away from ISU. It really is a weird tradition, but heck you gotta do! We later spent the day playing, "Where's the graduate?" We took random pictures of Tia all through-out ISU campus, which was rather entertaining. That night Tia received her nursing pin.

Saturday was CRAZY BUSY!! We went to graduation and then set up for the LUAU. Tia was so worried that no one would come. . . . .PLEASE!!! The church gym was packed & it was a great time! We say old friends, family, our Polynesian family, and our Hula family. The food was amazing, and of course the entertainment was awesome!! It was like we were back in the islands. . ..

Sunday was Mother's Day of course and it was a great day. My mother had to speak in church that day and she did a wonderful job speaking about what she learned from Grandma Cookie. It was great remembering her life again, but man it was so hard to hold in the tears. Its only been 2 months since she passed. Its still a little fresh. But my mama did awesome! We later took Lili to the Poky zoo. . . . I'll be honest, I had my doubts, but it surprised me. The zoo has picked-up its game, a little bit. Lili enjoyed it & that's all that matter!
Happy Mother's Day!!

Sunday night Lili & I flew home. It was the weirdest night! We got home at 10pm, went to bed, and woke up 2 hrs later to Lili having a fever of 105!! It freaked me out! We called the Dr. & he said, take her to the ER. We spent 3 hrs in there & came out with a diagnoses of a viral bug. Poor little baby has pretty much been in bed ever since. You know she doesn't feel well, when she looks at your with sad, droopy eyes. . . . . it breaks my heart!! But she is on the mend, on the road to recovery.
