Heber City Utah

Taylor has been given a promotion at work yay! But with that comes more responsibility & more travel. We were able to tag-a-long, as a whole family, to Heber City Utah. He had a course to go to & the kids & I got to go play. Lilianna was super excited to be able to play in the snow! I was just happy to be able to take a day off & go see family. We left late Thursday night because I had to work until 8pm. We didn't get into Utah until 4am Friday morning. Taylor maybe got a few hours of sleep (I drove the majority of the way in rain, snow, & fog…..) & then off to work he went. We met up with Nana & Tia for lunch & shopping. Later that night Grandma & Grandpa Hunter met up with us for the remainder of the weekend. We had a great time & would love to make that trip a yearly adventure!

That Saturday we got to go sledding (tubing) at Soldier Hollow, build snowmen, make snow angles & visit the Ice Castles. All very fun, yet very cold activities something us desert folk are not used to :)

The drive was beautiful! We saw frozen water falls, people camping (which is just insane to me!), ice fishers, & lots of deer.

The Ice Castles were spectacular! They had  a Frozen theme so Elsa & Anna were there. We only were able to get a picture with Elsa.

I thought this sign was cool & it showed that we went from one extreme (Miami) to the other (Utah) with in a matter for 7 days.

Zermatt Resort & Hotel had a lot to offer during both summer & winter.

Those little black specs out there are fishermen….that is just crazy talk!

Frozen waterfalls.
