"Backstreets Back Alright!"

Can I just tell you that reliving your teenage years is sometimes a great idea? Well my sister came to town last weekend for a quick trip (Friday-Sunday) to come do just that. We picked Tia up from the airport & went straight to Fashion Show Mall for two of my favs: Red Velvet Cake for lunch & shopping. We discovered a brand new Disney Store there that had a Princess Dress-up Station that was really cool. We also found out that Urban Outfitters is making there way there!! I'm too excited! From there we decided to be spontaneous & get Boyz II Men tickets to that night's show. OMG that was the greatest time! Boyz II Men is my ALL TIME favorite band. They were my very 1st concert EVER (12 years old with my cousin Tyson & my mama at the Mini Dome), my 1st love of music thanks to my dad (I stole his cassette tape of their 1st Album Motownphilly), just a great childhood memory. And the greatest part of all I finally got my rose!! It only took 18 years but thanks to my sister & her pushy ways we got a rose! Ha!

There is a new Disney Store at the Fashion Show Mall that has a Princess Dress-up area. It is adorable! It totally got us excited for our Disneyland trip in November!!!

Our favorite Tia Tia

Saturday we had plans of getting our church lessons ready, Lilianna's talk & the Backstreet Boys (BSB) concert. We've had our BSB tickets for months & this was the main reason Tia came, especially since they did not do a show in Salt Lake City. Oh boy BSB still has it & I'm very excited for the movie, yes that's right a movie, which is coming out next year!! Such a whirlwind of a weekend, but a great time!

That was a really great concert! We got to see DJ Pauly D from the Jersey Shores & he may be a jerk in real life but the man knows how to work a turn table! We also got to see Jesse McCartney who is adorable! Can't wait for his new album. And of course BSB!!! Funny story, during the opening song Kevin's pants ripped! So we got to see his bum :) At least he played it cool & shook what his mama gave him at the end!

Saying bye to Tia Tia

Working on our Primary Lessons. Tia teaches the Sunbeams so we had a blast coloring with her.

Our craft session :)

Jesse McCartney totally looks like a young version of Leonardo DiCaprio in the "Great Gatsby"
