We celebrated Easter a week early since we were headed to Idaho for Spring Break. Nana & Papa had been down to help with babysitting & they suggested that we travel back to Idaho with them & then fly home the following Sunday. I thought it was a great idea since I didn't know the next time I would be able to get back to Idaho. I also had a friend getting married & I really wanted to be able to go the reception.

The Easter bunny came early & yes the kiddos were spoiled! I think they received everything they wanted and some. Lilianna's preschool teacher put together a cute little Easter celebration. They were able to bring treats to share with the class & Lilianna & Nana came up with these cute little gifts. Her teacher taught the true meaning of Easter & shared with them the story of Christ's sacrifice. I guess Lilianna got really emotional over it & started to cry. She didn't like the way that others treated Jesus & was sad about how he died. It really touched my heart! We later discussed that because of his sacrifice we do not have to go through what Christ did & we can live together forever with our families & Heavenly Father. Such a tender moment that we were able to share with her & it made me truly grateful for our Gospel & having a testimony of Christ.

On a lighter note here are the kiddos basket. Lilianna received an adorable Hawaiian Doll & named her Angelica Seashell Seashore Hunter (true Hawaiian with more then one name). Ellis received all things Batman :)

This is how I got him asleep that night on the couch.....
The Easter bunny hid the eggs is some great places this year. He hid them so well that we have continued finding eggs...
Off to church but before we left we had to have a picture of the kiddos in their new clothes & their Mickey & Minnie Mouse Easter Bunnies.
While we were in Idaho we were able to attend an Easter Egg hunt at Rosetta which is one of the facilities Auntie Tia visits for work (she had some cute little patients up there whom we were able to visit with after the hunt). They did such a great job! The 4 & younger kids were in the front yard & the older kids were in the backyard. The kids made out like bandits! Each one of them won a special egg, not the golden egg, but a special egg. Ellis was just happy to receive a TON of candy :)

This little lady adored Lilianna & took her hand & escorted her around. Lilianna was a good sport & went along with it.

Easter dinner with Nana & Papa. We had another Easter Egg hunt that Lilianna was in charge of. She filled all of the eggs with candy. She colored coordinated the candy to the eggs! So so funny!!

Lilianna & Nana made this cake. Such a great job!

Flying home Easter Sunday. We couldn't have asked for a better flight. We had the whole back of the plane to ourselves, our own row & Ellis even had his own seat. The kids did great on the flight, but Lilianna was so sad to leave Idaho that she started to cry...broke my heart!
Airplane selfies :)
