4th Of July was actually a great time this year. I usually don't really care for the holiday but for the 2nd time in a row I got to spend with my sis :) James & Tia flew into Vegas to spend the night with us. They then got to head to San Diego for some baseball. Oh I was super jealous! What isn't more American then watching baseball on the 4th?!
After Tia & James left on their grand adventure, we headed to the Summerlin Parade. They also do a great job! We parked at Taylor's work, met some friends, & walked over to our spot. We were able to use our awesome wagon the Santa brought us this year.
The Eagle has landed. It was kind of funny this ginormous balloon got stuck in the trees, then within in a few moments he finally took off! haha!!
This parade was really a Disney parade. We saw all of the Princesses, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Pirates, Tinker Bell, & the Beatles.

Later that night we headed to our friends neighborhood. They put on quite the shindig for the 4th! It was legit! Awesome food, great music, & even a firework show. The best part was it down poured during the Fireworks. We even saw flashing lightning! So fun! It freaked the kids out just a bit....probably because we in Vegas do not know what weather is :)
